Lincomycin Hydrochloride Eye Drops is a bacteriostatic antibacterial ophthalmic preparation that acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It shows good activity against a range of Gram-positive bacteria and some anaerobic pathogens.
It is mainly used for the treatment of superficial ocular bacterial infections, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, hordeolum (stye), dacryocystitis, corneal ulcers, and for infection prevention after minor ocular trauma or surgery.
