Amoxicillin Tablets are a broad-spectrum semisynthetic penicillin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis during the active multiplication stage, exerting strong bactericidal effects against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms.
It is stable in gastric acid, well absorbed orally, and widely distributed in body fluids and tissues.
Composition
Each film‑coated tablet contains:
Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxicillin (various strengths available: 250 mg, 500 mg)
Indications
For the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains:
Upper and lower respiratory tract infections: sinusitis, otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
Genitourinary tract infections
Skin and soft tissue infections
Dental infections, osteomyelitis
Helicobacter pylori eradication regimens (in combination)
