Amoxicillin :200 mg
Clavulanic Acid :28.5 mg
Description
This paediatric oral suspension is a fixed‑dose combination of amoxicillin, a broad‑spectrum penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanate potassium, a beta‑lactamase inhibitor.
Clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from enzymatic degradation, extending its antibacterial spectrum against resistant bacteria. It features good oral absorption, mild gastrointestinal tolerance, and is specially formulated for children.
Indications
Upper respiratory tract infections: otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis
Lower respiratory tract infections: bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia
Urinary tract bacterial infections
Skin & soft tissue infections
Odontogenic and mild intraoral infections
Suspected mixed bacterial infections in paediatric patients
Storage
Store at room temperature, tightly closed, protected from light.
After reconstitution, refrigerate and use within recommended period.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For oral paediatric use only.
Contraindicated in patients with penicillin allergy, cephalosporin anaphylaxis history or hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
Common side effects: diarrhea, nausea, rash, gastrointestinal upset.
Use with caution in hepatic dysfunction and mononucleosis patients.
Complete the full treatment course to avoid antibiotic resistance and infection relapse.
