Description
Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, exerting bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The oral suspension offers rapid absorption, good tolerance, and is suitable for pediatric and adult oral use.
Indications
Upper & lower respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
Ear, nose and throat bacterial infections
Urinary tract and genital bacterial infections
Skin & soft tissue infections
Mild gastrointestinal bacterial infections
Adjunct treatment for H. pylori infection
Storage
Store at room temperature, tightly closed, protected from light.
After reconstitution, refrigerate and use within 10–14 days.
Shake well before each use.
Keep out of children’s reach.
Warning
For oral administration only.
Contraindicated in patients with penicillin hypersensitivity or history of severe allergic reaction.
Cross-allergy risk with cephalosporins.
Common side effects: diarrhea, nausea, skin rash.
Complete the full treatment course to avoid drug resistance and infection relapse.
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
