Fluconazole Injection 200mg/100mL is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, pre-mixed solution of fluconazole intended for intravenous infusion. Each 100mL container contains 200mg of fluconazole at a concentration of 2mg/mL. Fluconazole is a synthetic triazole antifungal agent with a broad spectrum of activity against many clinically important pathogenic fungi. The intravenous formulation is designed for use in patients who require systemic antifungal therapy and in whom oral administration is not feasible, including critically ill patients, patients with impaired gastrointestinal absorption, and patients unable to take oral medications.
