Coenzyme Q10 Injection 2mL:5mg is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of coenzyme Q10 (also known as ubidecarenone or ubiquinone-10) intended for intravenous administration. Each 2mL ampoule or vial contains 5mg of coenzyme Q10 at a concentration of 2.5mg/mL. Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring lipid-soluble quinone compound found in the inner mitochondrial membrane of all human cells, where it plays an essential role in mitochondrial energy metabolism. The intravenous formulation is designed for use as adjunctive therapy in patients with conditions associated with coenzyme Q10 deficiency or mitochondrial dysfunction, including congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and in settings where oral supplementation is not feasible or inadequate.
