Glutathione Injection 3000mg is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, lyophilized powder intended for reconstitution with Water for Injections or 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection and further dilution prior to intravenous infusion. Each vial contains 3000mg (3g) of reduced glutathione. Reduced glutathione (GSH) is a naturally occurring tripeptide (L-γ-glutamyl-L-cysteinylglycine) that is synthesized endogenously in human cells and serves as one of the most abundant and important intracellular antioxidants. The intravenous formulation is designed for use as an adjunctive antioxidant and hepatoprotective agent in conditions associated with oxidative stress and hepatic injury.
