Metronidazole Injection 25mg/5mL is a sterile, aqueous solution of metronidazole intended for intravenous infusion. Each 5mL ampoule contains 25mg of metronidazole at a concentration of 5mg/mL. Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antimicrobial agent with activity against a broad spectrum of anaerobic bacteria and certain protozoan parasites, widely used in the management of anaerobic bacterial infections and protozoal diseases.
