Ofloxacin Eye Drops is a broad-spectrum antibacterial ophthalmic fluoroquinolone preparation. It acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, exerting strong bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
It is mainly used for the treatment of external ocular bacterial infections including conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, hordeolum (stye), dacryocystitis, corneal ulcer and post-operative infection prophylaxis.
