Product Description
Ertugliflozin is a selective sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It reduces renal glucose reabsorption and increases urinary glucose excretion, lowering blood glucose levels independent of insulin secretion.
It also helps reduce body weight and systolic blood pressure, and provides cardioprotective and renoprotective effects in type 2 diabetes patients.
Indications
As an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Directions for Use
Oral use, swallow whole with water. Recommended dose: 15 mg once daily, taken in the morning, with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Follow physician’s guidance strictly.
