Product Description
Sotagliflozin is a dual sodium-glucose cotransporter 1 and 2 (SGLT1/SGLT2) inhibitor. It inhibits glucose absorption in the intestine via SGLT1 and reduces renal glucose reabsorption via SGLT2, lowering both postprandial and fasting blood glucose.
It offers stable glycemic control, aids weight management, and provides cardiovascular and renal protective effects.
Indications
Improvement of glycemic control in:
- Adults with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (adjunct to insulin)
- Adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Directions for Use
Oral administration, swallow whole with water. Recommended dose: 400 mg once daily, taken in the morning, with or without food. Do not crush or chew tablets. Follow physician’s dosage guidance strictly.

Warnings
- Not for diabetic ketoacidosis as primary treatment.
