Product Description
This is a compound antimalarial drug combining Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine and Dihydroartemisinin.
Dihydroartemisinin is a fast-acting artemisinin derivative that rapidly kills malaria parasites, reduces parasite load quickly and controls acute malaria symptoms. Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine inhibits folate synthesis of plasmodium, suppresses parasite replication, clears residual pathogens and lowers recurrence rate.
The two ingredients act synergistically, enhancing curative effect, shortening treatment course, reducing malaria relapse and delaying the emergence of drug-resistant malaria strains.
Indications
Treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by susceptible Plasmodium falciparum and other Plasmodium species.
Directions for Use
Oral use, swallow whole with clean water. Administer strictly according to doctor’s prescription or medical guidelines. Complete the full treatment course; do not stop medication arbitrarily.
