Description
Paracetamol is a centrally acting antipyretic and analgesic agent. It inhibits central prostaglandin synthesis to relieve pain and reduce fever, with weak anti‑inflammatory effect and good gastrointestinal tolerance. Oral suspension is easy to administer, ideal for pediatric patients.
Indications
Fever caused by cold, flu and various inflammatory conditions
Relief of mild to moderate pain: headache, toothache, sore throat, myalgia
Pain and fever relief for children unable to take solid tablets
Storage
Store at room temperature, tightly sealed, protect from light.
Shake well before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For oral use only.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
Do not use together with other paracetamol‑containing preparations.
Avoid overdose to prevent irreversible hepatic injury.
Use with caution in patients with liver and renal impairment.
