Description
Ofloxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase, blocking microbial nucleic acid replication. It delivers broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against Gram-positive, Gram-negative and atypical pathogens with stable absorption and excellent tissue penetration.
Indications
Lower respiratory tract infections: bronchitis, pneumonia
Urinary and reproductive system infections
Intra-abdominal and biliary tract infections
Pelvic inflammation and gynecological bacterial infections
Skin, soft tissue and ENT bacterial infections
Perioperative anti-infection prophylaxis
Storage
Seal tightly, store in a cool dry place, protect from light.
Do not freeze.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For intravenous infusion only.
Contraindicated in ofloxacin hypersensitivity, children under 18 years, pregnant and lactating women.
Avoid exposure to strong sunlight to prevent photosensitivity reactions.
Use with caution in renal impairment, epilepsy and tendon injury history.
Concurrent use with alkaline drugs or certain nutrients shall be avoided.
