Description
Norfloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolone class. It inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, hinders bacterial replication and transcription, and shows strong bactericidal activity against a variety of Gram-negative and partial Gram-positive bacteria. It features wide antibacterial spectrum and good tissue distribution.
Indications
Urinary tract and reproductive system bacterial infections
Gastrointestinal and biliary tract infections
Respiratory tract, pelvic and soft tissue infections
Systemic moderate bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains
Storage
Store tightly sealed in a dry and cool place, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For intravenous infusion only.
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to norfloxacin, pregnant women, lactating women and patients under 18 years old.
May cause photosensitivity, tendinopathy and gastrointestinal reactions.
Use with caution in renal insufficiency and central nervous system diseases.
Avoid alcohol and strong sunlight exposure during treatment.
