Description
Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, relieves moderate pain and reduces fever, with negligible anti-inflammatory effect. Intravenous infusion ensures rapid onset and stable efficacy, well-tolerated for clinical critical and perioperative use.
Indications
Moderate to severe acute pain, including postoperative pain
Persistent fever unresponsive to other treatments
Fever and pain management for patients unable to take oral medicine
Adjuvant symptomatic treatment for infectious fever
Storage
Store tightly sealed at room temperature, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
Use promptly once opened.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For intravenous infusion only.
Contraindicated in paracetamol hypersensitivity, severe hepatic impairment.
Strictly control daily dosage to prevent hepatotoxicity.
Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing preparations.
Use with caution in renal insufficiency, chronic alcoholism and malnourished patients.
