Product Overview
Quinine Dihydrochloride Injection 2mL:600mg is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of quinine dihydrochloride intended for intravenous infusion after dilution. Each 2mL ampoule or vial contains 600mg of quinine dihydrochloride at a concentration of 300mg/mL. Quinine is a cinchona alkaloid with antimalarial activity. The intravenous formulation is designed for use in the management of severe Plasmodium falciparum malaria in patients who are unable to tolerate oral therapy, when intravenous artesunate is not immediately available, or when oral therapy is contraindicated due to vomiting, impaired consciousness, or inability to swallow.
