Product Description
This product is a fixed-dose combination antimalarial medicine.
Dihydroartemisinin is a high-efficiency artemisinin derivative, rapidly killing malaria parasites, inhibiting parasite growth and reducing parasite load quickly. Piperaquine is a long-acting antimalarial agent, which eliminates residual plasmodium, maintains long therapeutic concentration, lowers recurrence rate and delays drug resistance development.
The two ingredients act synergistically, providing fast parasite clearance and long-lasting prevention of relapse. It has high cure rate, good tolerance and is widely used for standard treatment of uncomplicated malaria.
Indications
Treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum and other susceptible Plasmodium species.
Directions for Use
Oral administration, swallow whole with water. Take strictly as prescribed by a physician. Complete the full treatment course; do not stop midway.
