It dilates cerebral arterioles, improves cerebral microcirculation, inhibits calcium overload, and protects nerve cells, effectively reducing ischemic neurological damage.
Indications
For the prevention and treatment of cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage, and improvement of cerebral circulation in acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
Prescription drug for intravenous infusion only. Must be used under close medical monitoring. Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to nimodipine or excipients, severe hypotension, cardiac dysfunction. Use with caution in hepatic and renal impairment, elderly patients, and during pregnancy/lactation. Avoid concomitant use with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors.
