Description
Clindamycin Injection is a lincosamide antibacterial agent that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. It has strong activity against most Gram-positive cocci and strict anaerobes, and is widely used in clinical mixed infection and anaerobic infection treatment.
Indications
Respiratory tract infections: pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema
Skin and soft tissue infections, wound infections
Intra-abdominal infections: peritonitis, abdominal abscess
Pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, gynecological abscess
Bone and joint infections, septicemia
Anaerobic infections in various tissues and organs
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
Prescription drug for intravenous infusion or intramuscular injection only.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to clindamycin, lincomycin or any excipient.
May cause gastrointestinal reactions, diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis.
Use with caution in hepatic or renal insufficiency, asthma, gastrointestinal diseases.
Use under medical supervision.
