Product Overview
Levofloxacin Lactate Injection 100mL:300mg is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, clear solution of levofloxacin (as lactate salt) intended for intravenous infusion. Each 100mL infusion container contains 300mg of levofloxacin (3mg/mL). Levofloxacin is a synthetic broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent, active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as atypical pathogens. The intravenous formulation is intended for use when oral administration is not feasible, and may be switched to oral levofloxacin once the patient’s clinical condition permits, to complete the course of therapy.
