Ciprofloxacin Lactate Injection 200mg/100mL is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, pre-mixed solution of ciprofloxacin lactate intended for intravenous infusion. Each 100mL container contains ciprofloxacin lactate equivalent to 200mg of ciprofloxacin at a concentration of 2mg/mL. Ciprofloxacin is a second-generation fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent with a broad spectrum of activity against many clinically important Gram-negative and selected Gram-positive organisms. The intravenous formulation is designed for use in situations where oral therapy is not feasible, including severe infections, critically ill patients, and patients with impaired gastrointestinal absorption or intolerance to oral medications.
