Description
Produced in a GMP‑certified pharmaceutical factory, Heparin Sodium Injection is a sterile, pyrogen‑free parenteral anticoagulant. It enhances the inhibitory effect of antithrombin III on activated coagulation factors (especially Factor Xa and thrombin), effectively preventing fibrin formation and thrombus development.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and peripheral arterial thromboembolism
Anticoagulation in cardiovascular surgery, hemodialysis, extracorporeal circulation and interventional procedures
Maintenance patency of intravenous indwelling catheters and cannulas
Adjuvant treatment of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
Prescription drug for intravenous or subcutaneous administration only.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to heparin, active bleeding, hemorrhagic diathesis, severe thrombocytopenia, and recent intracranial, ocular or spinal surgery.
Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment, uncontrolled hypertension, peptic ulcer, and during pregnancy and lactation.
Coagulation parameters such as APTT should be closely monitored during use.
