Description
Lactated Ringer’s Injection is a sterile, balanced isotonic electrolyte solution containing sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride and sodium lactate. It replenishes body fluid and electrolytes, maintains acid-base balance, and corrects mild metabolic acidosis. Widely used for safe and rapid fluid replacement in clinical practice.
Indications
Treatment of isotonic dehydration and electrolyte loss
Perioperative and postoperative fluid maintenance
Fluid resuscitation for trauma, burns and hypovolemia
Adjunct correction of mild metabolic acidosis
Diluent for compatible intravenous medications
Storage
Store at room temperature, tightly sealed, protected from excessive heat and direct light.
Do not freeze.
Inspect for particulate matter or discoloration before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
For intravenous infusion only.
Contraindicated in severe hyperkalemia, hypercalcemia, lactic acidosis and severe renal failure.
Use with caution in heart failure, hypertension, liver dysfunction and fluid retention patients.
Monitor electrolyte levels and infusion rate during administration to avoid overload.
