Lysine Acetylsalicylate Injection 900mg/7mL is a sterile, aqueous solution of lysine acetylsalicylate intended for parenteral administration. Each 7mL ampoule contains 900mg of lysine acetylsalicylate, equivalent to approximately 500mg of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). Lysine acetylsalicylate is the water-soluble DL-lysine salt of acetylsalicylic acid, which allows for parenteral administration of acetylsalicylic acid in situations where oral administration is not feasible or when rapid onset of action is desired. It exhibits the pharmacological properties of acetylsalicylic acid, including analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and antiplatelet activities, and is widely used for the short-term management of pain, fever, and inflammatory conditions, as well as in situations where parenteral antiplatelet therapy is required.
