Description
Ascorbic Acid is an essential water-soluble vitamin that participates in oxidation-reduction reactions, collagen formation, tissue repair, and immune regulation. High-dose infusion supports stress response in critical illness and enhances detoxification.
Indications
Severe vitamin C deficiency and scurvy
Adjuvant therapy for severe infections, sepsis, and shock
Burn, trauma, and surgical recovery support
Capillary hemorrhage and increased capillary fragility
Supportive treatment for poisoning and heavy metal detoxification

Warning
For intravenous infusion only.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid.
Use with caution in gout, renal calculi, hemochromatosis, and G6PD deficiency.
High doses may cause hyperoxaluria, gastrointestinal upset, or diarrhea.
Monitor renal function and electrolytes during prolonged infusion.
